Unobstructed panoramic views
No vertical uprights break the view at eye level. Floor-to-ceiling glass gives you the full coastal or mountain panorama from every seat on your terrace.
The most elegant way to enclose a Costa del Sol terrace — no vertical aluminium profiles, no obstructed views, fully openable glass panels that disappear when you want them to.
Get a Free QuoteFrameless glass enclosures — also called glass curtains, glass curtain walls, or cortinas de cristal sin perfiles in Spanish — represent the premium end of the terrace glazing market. Their defining characteristic is the complete absence of vertical aluminium or PVC profiles between glass panels. The panels sit edge-to-edge, held only by top and bottom track systems and small pivot fittings at the corners.

Panels fold and stack to one or both sides, creating completely open sides when you want maximum airflow on a warm summer evening.
Estate agents across Marbella and the Costa del Sol consistently report that glassed-in outdoor spaces — particularly frameless systems — add significant resale value to apartments and villas.
Because frameless systems use no permanent fixings to the building structure, they are typically classified as demountable in Spanish planning law — simplifying the permit and community approval process.
All hardware is marine-grade stainless steel or anodised aluminium — essential for properties within 500 metres of the sea on the Costa del Sol.
The terminology around glass enclosures can be confusing. "Framed" systems use aluminium uprights between each glass panel — visible as vertical bars that divide the glazed area into individual windows. "Frameless" (or "profile-free") systems have no uprights at all: the glass panels connect to each other at the edge via discreet pivot mechanisms, creating an unbroken glass wall.
One of the most underappreciated benefits of frameless glass enclosures is how little maintenance they require. With fewer components, fewer joints, and no painted timber or powder-coated aluminium profiles to degrade, a well-installed system keeps its appearance with very little effort.
Clean panels twice per year (or more in dusty, coastal areas) with standard glass cleaner and a squeegee. Do not use abrasive cloths.
Once per year, clear the lower track of any sand or grit that may cause panels to slide stiffly. A soft brush and compressed air work well.
Every 5–7 years, have the rubber seals and pivot fittings checked by a technician. Seal replacement is inexpensive and prevents water ingress.
For coastal properties within 200 metres of the sea, we recommend rinsing the panels with fresh water monthly during summer to remove salt deposits before they cause etching on the glass surface. This adds 10 minutes of maintenance time per month and significantly extends the life of the panels.
Ideal for apartments and villas: Frameless glass enclosures work equally well in ground-floor villa terraces (where privacy and wind protection are priorities), penthouse apartments (where views are the main asset), and mid-floor balconies (where planning impact is a consideration). The system scales from a 3-metre balcony to a 40-metre villa terrace without any change in operating principle.
